White Mass for Health Care Professionals

Please consider joining us on October 18, 2020 at Sacred Heart Cathedral for our annual White Mass, which will be celebrated by the Most Reverend Salvatore Matano.

All are welcome, especially all health care professionals, their family and friends!

While this year will clearly be different than last (i.e., we are unable to gather after Mass) we hope that you will join us to celebrate the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass, asking through the intercession of St. Luke and our Blessed Mother that our Lord Jesus Christ will continue to look favorably on our Guild’s efforts to support the Rochester community in these difficult times.

Due to social distancing requirements space is limited.  Please RSVP by sending us an email here: white.mass.flg@gmail.com

Virtual Journal Club

Our next VJC is going to be November 18, 2020 via Zoom. Stay tuned for details!

Send an email to flg.virtual.journal.club@gmail.com if you are interested in presenting at a future VJC and/or if you would like to help us offer CME/CE!

Catholics @ URMC 2020 – On COVID Hiatus

**We hope to restart these gatherings once COVID-related gathering restrictions can be safely eased.  In the meantime, please feel free to contact us if there there are challenges related to being Catholic in the health professions!**

Catholics @ URMC is a collaboration between the UR Newman Center and the Finger Lakes Guild that aims to bring together Catholics, and non-Catholics, to provide mutual support for those working in the health professions.

POSTPONED – End of Life Symposium!

Due to COVID-19 the EoL Symposium (originally scheduled for April 18th) is postponed.  We believe this is an important topic and we reschedule when we are able.

Please do all you can to help prevent the spread of this virus and stay safe!

Journal Club

Our most recent Journal Club was a huge success, thank you to everyone who took part!  We are now in the process of scheduling our next Journal Club.  Those interested will be able to join us either in person at St. Bernard’s or via video conference.  We are also very happy to continue our collaboration with the Palm Beach Guild as we work to expand the reach of this innovative educational and networking forum.  If you would like to help with developing this education series, please reach out to us here!
