The Finger Lakes Guild is committed to bringing authentic Catholic teaching on medicine and bioethics to our community. We have a dedicated Board and members-at-large who volunteer their time, talent, and treasure to help the Guild fulfill this important mission.
However, as Sister Irene Kraus is famously attributed to have said, “No Margin, No Mission” is all too true and so if you feel called to support the Guild with a some part of your treasure, we humbly provide a variety of options.* If you have a sponsorship idea that is not on our list, please don’t hesitate to contact us, we open to suggestions and would be happy to work with you!
Education Fund
Each year the Guild support 1-2 students pursuing various healthcare degrees. In the past few years we provided financial assistance to two wonderful local colleagues, Alexandra Andrews and Bernadette Palermo, as they completed their programs to become FertilityCare Practitioners of the Creighton Model System. Both Alex and Bernadette are currently practicing locally. We are blessed to have them in our community and are very happy that we were able to support them.
If you would like to support the Guild in our efforts to help future students, please consider donating. Any and all donations are appreciated, no matter how large or small (not to mention tax-deductible). We are happy to keep you anonymous or recognize you publicly depending on your preference.

- Quarterly journal club to discuss a recent important article impacting the practice of medicine from the Catholic perspective. Wine is provided.
